Your heart beats fast as you anticipate the dopamine.
Rendering. Loading. At last:
Look at all that engagement in others' timelines:
"if only I could be so influential!"
But then, that dreadful feeling: the uncertainty, fear, and doubt
The last time you posted something, it was crickets and dropped pins
"Am I the only one who wants to give up?"
Little do you know, the struggles of the successful:
• How they started from nothing
• How close they were to giving up
• How they found people to be their guiding light
• All the unexpected paths?? that emerged when they kept pressing on
When you see others' success, you don't see it as less worthy because of their mistakes or inefficiencies.
In fact, you often can't witness the hard work: strikethroughs, restarts, pivots
The process is an open rehearsal for the symphony of your thoughts:
False starts
Missed notes
From the top again and again
If they had given up, you wouldn't have been inspired by them.
If they hadn't planted those seeds, you wouldn't have enjoyed the juicy fruit of their labor
You didn't see the seeds planted, but you are a beneficiary.
You must not dismiss yourself: class is still in session.
Who will benefit from your work?
It's all of your mind, heart and hands on deck.
When you look at your own journey, don't discount yourself
Your potential can only be realized when you are fighting daily in the arena
Timeout's over: jump back into the game
